RPG or role-playing games and MMORPG or massively multiplayer online role-playing games have become a hit with several millions of subscribers all over the globe. Characters in online gaming add a sense of creativity in players and are one of the biggest advantages that keep the game interesting and fun. Associations with the Game

Characters appearances will almost always be influenced by the main theme of the game. For example, futuristic and space environments will most likely feature aliens, robots, cyborgs and other never-before-seen figures such as in Star Wars. There are also fantasy worlds featuring knights, hunters, princesses and even human-animal hybrids. Medieval themes feature knights, warriors and mythical creatures like centaurs, merfolk and elves.

The types of weapons available may not apply to all characters. Although some may be able to carry items that do not match their skills and qualities, it is very likely that they won’t be able to perform as well as having someone compatible wield these.

Some characters are better suited for specific types of work so expect some characters to start off with more money, more health, more magic capabilities, etc. The progression of skills and pace of advancement in specific areas will also vary between entities. Some are able to perform better in different types of environments, creatures and bosses.

Defining the Traits and Skills

Most MMORPG games characters have an energy or mana bar which allows them to perform special actions like casting a spell, firing an offensive or defending uniquely. Depending on the class and type of character, this has to be upgraded through the game. Some may do well without the need for energy upgrades such as warrior and juggernaut types. Those that focus more on magic will usually need more energy than life.

There are also special features that come with characters such as the ability to have an aura. Auras provide passive abilities and bonuses that improve the performance of the character as well other nearby players. Others have the ability to bring a creature or pet while moving through the different environments.

Pets can help carry things, attack or defend. Some characters have large creatures which they can ride on to move faster. Changing the items and weapons of your character or reaching certain levels in online gaming might also give it a new appearance. You may have the option of choosing between unlocked wardrobes and costumes.
